Cyprus and water
Although surrounded by it, the beautiful island of Cyprus is very short of fresh, drinking, water.  Little rainfall for over a year has left the island with insufficient resources in the reservoirs to supply the main towns and cities.  The villages, such as Eptagonia, are managing to get sufficient water from wells.
